When and where is the event?
The Rathlin Sound Maritime Festival takes place on Rathlin Island and Ballycastle between 26th May and 4th June with most activities taking place in and around the Seafront at both locations.

Where can I park in Ballycastle?
Parking will be available in all normal town car parks including the Harbour Carpark, Quay Road Playing Fields, Marina Carpark, Sheskburn Recreation Centre and Ann Street, although there will be a big demand on these so perhaps consider using the bus. Timetable available on www.translink.co.uk.

Where can I find the full programme?
Programme of the week’s activities are listed in Itineraries. However, for updates during the event please refer to our social media platforms as a lot of our programming is weather dependent and can change on the day.

What disabled facilities are there?
Disabled parking is available in all the normal car parks. Accessoloo is on site at The Seafront.
There is also quiet time for children with additional needs in Ballycastle Saturday 27th May 11am – 12 noon.

Is this a free event?
There is no admission for this event and most of the activities are free. Any activities which incur charges will be specified on the programme.

How do I book travel to Rathlin?
The Rathlin Island Ferry is bookable online at https://rathlin-ferry.com Please ensure to book well in advance as the ferry does fill up especially during the weekend of the festival.
